
How do I get started?
Parla Speech, Language, & Literacy Services, LLC does not currently accept insurance. Because we only accept private-pay clients, getting started is easy. There is no need to obtain a referral from your pediatrician. If you feel your child may benefit from our services, please reach out. We can schedule a free consultation. See below for a general outline of the service delivery process.
We currently serve individuals in Ohio and Pennsylvania only.

Contact Us
Schedule a FREE 15-20 minute consultation or screening.
Parent consultations are conducted via phone or Zoom. You can discuss your concerns with a licensed and certified SLP.
Screenings are conducted via Zoom with the child. At that time, the SLP will provide her initial impressions and make a recommendation on the next steps. This can also be an opportunity to get a sneak peak into how teletherapy works and some of the available tools.

Schedule an Evaluation
During an evaluation standardized and functional assessments are used to assess the child's skills. Additionally relevant medial and developmental history will be collected. Parents will be provided with a copy of the written results.
Typically new clients are evaluated prior to the start of treatment; however, if may be possible to initiate treatment if the client has a recent evaluation from another provider or the school district.

Treatment Plan
After completion of an evaluation, the results will be disussed and a treatment plan will be formed, including the recommended goals and session frequency and duration of services.

Begin Teletherapy Services
After therapy is initiated, regular data and progress monitoring will be conducted in order to track the child's progress. Goals can be modified at any time.
